USING THE SITE SEARCH FACILITY

The Pico site search will find the pages on which the required word appears and list them all with a "link" to the actual page. If this is a large page you should then use your Browser's "Edit...Find" facility.

This web site is in 2 parts, MY FAMILY and my wife PAT's FAMILY, and uses a Frameset system and each FAMILY has its own side-panel Menu with the detail appearing in the Main part.

The Search Engine is not perfect and cannot handle Frames very well.

It searches the whole web site but cannot tell which side of the family the required pages belong to. which can cause confusion if you search from one Menu for something which belongs to another family.

In order to avoid the confusion of having the incorrect Menu it is suggested that once you have read the page you then click on the Hand icon at the bottom of each page.

Another occasional problem is that it sometimes puts a complete "page" with menu etc into the Main part.
