The children were christened at Holy
Trinity, in central Coventry but several state on Censuses they were born at
Exhall or Coundon. It is possible that the family lived in the countryside to
the north west of Coventry but maintained a connection with the central
Coventry areas where the family came from. |

Notes: Mary's birth has been
difficult to determine in view of stated place of birth on Censuses. Help has
been given by another descendant of Thomas Fletcher who has a family bible. It
seems that Mary and her siblings were christened at Holy Trinity, in central
Coventry, but, confusingly, several state on Censuses they were born at Exhall
, Coundon or Keresley. It is possible that the family lived in the countryside
to the north west of Coventry but maintained a connection with the central
Coventry areas where the family came from. |
